Another date has been settled for the first installment of Cross River State Secondary Schools Cultural Festival and Poetry.
This was made known by the Commissioner of Culture and Tourism Development, Mr. Eric Anderson, ascending from a joint gathering with Directors of his service and their partners from the Ministry of Education.
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism Development, Cross River State had declared her joint effort with the Ministry of Education, to have the principal ever All Secondary Schools Cultural Festival on Wednesday, 28th March 2018 at the UJ ESUENE Stadium, Calabar. The new date for the occasion is presently Wednesday, eleventh of April 2018 at a similar scene.
The celebration, labeled ‘AYADE MAIDEN EDITION’, is started following the need to guarantee that sufficient learning of our way of life and legacy is exchanged to the more youthful age.
There will be a show of sustenance, music, and dance of Cross River origin by understudies of 60 optional schools drawn from the North, Central and Southern parts of the state, in a well creative inventive challenge intended to engage and teach both the understudies and the visitors.
